Christa Miller
grew up surrounded by books and the stories they held. She started writing
at an early age and first decided to become a writer after winning a school
award in fourth grade. After unsuccessfully trying several better-paying
careers including computer tech support, Christa returned to her first love
and has worked as a full time writer, proofreader, and editor since 2001.
More about her work is available at her website,
www.christammiller.com
Christa has enjoyed sharing her knowledge of good storytelling with other
writers for many years. She believes in the "pay it forward" principle and
thinks a good critique is one that gives a writer the tools needed to tell a
great story according to his or her own vision and style. She enjoys reading
books in any genre, but her favorite books involve crime in its many
subgenres.
Christa grew up around New England and now makes her home in southern Maine
with her husband, who teaches high-school social studies, and their son.
When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family and
friends, reading, gardening, exercising, and watching movies that - what
else? - tell great stories.
